Kurt Neubauer comes from Jeseník, a small town situated in the heart of the mountains, where he spent his childhood. Thanks to his family background he started to take the first musical steps at preschool age. His artistic carier started at the age of five when his parents enrolled him at the local music school. At the beginning he learned to play the piano and the recorder. At the age of nine he switched the instruments and started to play the trombone. At this time, of course, he had no idea it would one day become one the greatest passions of his life. For all that followed was mostly responsible his teacher František Mech, who immediately let him play in the Youth Brass Band and different chamber groups. Under his leadership Kurt also regularly participated in The Music Schools’ National Competition. In the year 2000 and 2001 he took part in the concert tour with Young Musician International Symphony Orchestra (Slovenia, Croatia and Italy) led by conductor and violin virtuoso Igor Coretti. Next year he applied to The Pardubice Music Conservatory and after he succesfully passed the entrance exams there was no doubt that his future was decided.
